Thank you visiting the New York Young Republican Club, Inc., the oldest Young Republican club in the country. Founded in 1911, the club has a proud heritage of local political involvement, nationally-renowned speakers, and enthusiastic and accomplished members. This year, recruitment tops our list of priorities. We welcome Republicans and conservatives of all strains as we introduce young professionals to the New York City political scene. Please consider joining the club, and remember to sign up for our newsletter (just use the form on the right side of this page). 2010 holds much promise for Republicans, but it will take an immense effort to elect responsible, honorable, and effective representatives to help reign in government at all levels. A mid-term congressional election is a crucial event in politics, setting the stage for the nation as it heads into its next presidential election. As a proudly independent club, we will work alongside other organizations that share our principles to support only the best candidates New York has to offer. Membership participation is critical to our 2010 effort, so I call upon all members for their skills and support. There are numerous ways to get involved, beginning with attendance at our events and fundraisers. If you choose to become a member, you can join in event planning, outreach, public relations, and campaign support. There are even appointed committee chairmanships available for exceptional leaders. Our committees are accepting new additions now, so please email our Membership Chair, Erika, at info@nycyr.org to learn more. I implore you to contribute your time and talent as we work together to elect quality representatives, promote real Republican principles, and make 2010 our club's best year yet.
