The Freedom Center is Dead
Governor Pataki has finally followed the advice of victims’ families and quashed plans to build a museum , which was to be filled with exhibits on the "crimes" of America, at the World Trade Center.
If only he would ditch the Libeskind homage to quartz and pick a more appropriate design.

Brooklyn Political Earthquake
Brooklyn Democrat leader Clarence Norman, Jr. has joined a pantheon of Democrat machine bosses and officials imprisoned for corrupting the election process and running a legislative protection racket to raise campaign contributions.
If Norman cooperates in convicting other officials, perhaps he can do a three-month stint like Guy Velella. If not, there are a dozen other investigations, in which Norman is a target or figure.

We should thank the New York Sun and give another toast to its deceased columnist Jack Newfield.
