John Spencer for U.S. Senate

Spencerbanner.gifJohn Spencer, Conservative and Republican Party candidate for United States Senate against incumbent Hillary Clinton in the November 2006 election, has been traveling New York State talking about conservative values and real change for New York. Tired of the hate America crowd that rejects traditional marriage and Christian-Judeo beliefs, Spencer is delivering a message that says love of God, family and country is not lost by New Yorkers.

A Vietnam War veteran and two-time mayor of Yonkers, the 4th largest city in New York, Spencer has been involved in public policy and public service for much of his lifetime. Growing up in a blue-collar section of Yonkers, Spencer started his career in construction, then real estate management, and on to Mayor. His no-nonsense approach to city government and foreign policy has garnished him a respectful record.

Adopted as a child, John Spencer is a strong advocate for the unborn. He is unafraid to express his pro-life positions and fight for women in crisis pregnancies, by supporting life centers that help thousands of women in New York each year. Clinton, on the other hand, is beholden to the death crowd that supports partial birth abortion (otherwise known as infanticide) and "mercy" killing of the old, disabled and mentally ill.

In stark contrast to Clinton, Spencer supports tax credits, improved economic growth, educational choices and a strong national defense. Clinton has spent her time in office blocking measures to prevent terrorism, ignoring women's health concerns, rejecting tax relief and siding with powerful union leaders, instead of the very people they represent. From the outside looking in, Clinton resembles a mob boss, plotting her next endeavor, while using her pawns meticulously.

The honeymoon will not last forever. It is just a matter of time before New Yorkers recognize Clinton for who she truly is - a carpetbagger from Arkansas who has no idea what the State of New York needs in order to protect us from terrorism, and has a sociological agenda that says abortion is a good thing, government knows better, and parents are incapable of understanding what is best for their child.

Clinton not only threatens our moral fiber, but our national security as well. She has consistently failed to work with other Senators to give our government officials the tools necessary to effectively fight the War on Terror. Clinton routinely condemns the Patriot Act, which has provided much needed clarity for dealing with, arresting and containing terrorist groups, their finances and their proposed destruction of America.

Clinton opposition to the confirmation of acting U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., John Bolton, is further evidence that she is not focused on national security. Even while the recently uncovered oil-for-food scam goes unpunished, genocide in Darfur, Africa continues, and America bashing is the popular tone, Clinton panders to her liberal base. The one thing America needs right now is a strong advocate for accountability at the U.N. which is precisely what Ambassador Bolton is doing. Hello? Earth to Clinton.

At a curious time in America when terrorists are threatening our lives and the culture of death is eroding our moral character, we need a representative like John Spencer, now more than ever.
