More Committee Appointments

More additions to the New York Young Republican Club's Board of Governors took place earlier this month. We start off with the committees that have two chairs.

Tim Furey who previously worked as a member of Outreach will now co-chair the Campaigns Committee with Lev Brudnoy. WIth local elections coming up in 2009, this committee will require a number of dedicated Republicans that can communicate between our Club and local candidates.

Candice Blackburn will join Liz Froment in co-chairing the the Socials & Events Committee. Planning monthly social engagements can be time consuming and so we will now have two people making sure we have events for young Republicans on a monthly basis.

Jennifer Tyler comes on board as Special Projects Coordinator. This position should allow Ms Tyler the Freedom to coordinate various functions that need input within the Board of Governors.

Club Elections

It's that time again where we elect the Leadership of the New York Young Republican Club. In order to be qualified for an elected leadership position, a person must be between the ages of 18 and 39 and having been a member of the club for 12 months.
