Citizens Union Prefers Ashok Chandra In Republican Primary

Citizens Union (CU) recently announced that Ashok Chandra is the preferred candidate in the Fourth District’s Republican primary. CU cites Ashok’s reform agenda, his policy solutions, and his ability to offer a new perspective as reasons for its support.

Citizens Union is a nonpartisan organization that promotes good government and political reform in New York. It offers all city candidates the opportunity to complete its questionnaire, which addresses issues of government reforms, education, city spending, ballot initiatives, taxation, term limits, and numerous other matters that profoundly affect the citizens of this city.

Upon review of Ashok’s answers, CU applauded his reform-minded stance, his innovative policies, and his principled perspective.
